My Sock and Paisley

My second sock is almost done and should be done by the weekend and ready to show. It has knit up so much faster than the first one. But now I need to go into the stash and find some yarn and a pattern for the next pair.

Paisley got a new do! She is never excited about going to the vet (yes that's where she gets in hair done) but this time was so different. When I opened the door to go in she took off running with her tail going back and forth. I think she has been so hot that she was pretty excited to get shaved. I just love when I pick her up and she smells so good and acts just like a little puppy not a girl that is eleven years old.

By the end of the day she is pretty worn out and loves to sleep on the arm of the chair in our office. I don't know how she can't sleep when she is setting up but she does. Sorry the picture is so dark but its late at night and that's all the lighting I can get in that room.

  1. Very cute. I think she looks lovely with her new hair cut. Some times I think we all forget how old we are.

  2. paisley is looking very smart, i am looking forward to having my hair cut next week. i am not going to the vet though!!!!!! love your cherry and blue and white spot look!!!!!!

  3. Aaaah Paisley is so sweet! She looks so pretty with her hair done.

I love the sock too, I can't knit to save my life. I can crochet, but I guess I am just not coordinated enough to use both hands at once LOL

You need to take a picture of your DD's boat table, I really want to see it!

You asked what stores I go to, I go mostly to the DI, either the one on redwood and 7800 S or the one on 3100 S and 5600 W. Neither are very close to me, but oh well LOL. My favorite one is in Centerville, something about all those old houses up there, there is better old stuff to be found! But that one is even further and I only manage to make it there about once or twice a year.

What store do you go to? I really want to check out some antique stores, but for some reason I am terrified of going to one by myself, dumb I know, but there you have it.

  4. My Lizette got a clipping yesterday. It was way past due, and she is like a new puppy today. I was just in time, it is quite hot and humid today. We even saw 80º today. No wonder Paisley is enjoying her clipping too. I wish I could drop Lizette off somewhere, but the cost is just more than I can manage, so I'm her groomer. As long as my back holds up, that is......... LOL
