A Day of Shopping in Colorado

My daughter and I went out to Colorado a day before everyone else so we could go to some great Flea markets and Antique shops in Fort Collins. I found this pitcher at one of the shops it was a little pricey at $14.00 but I really like it.

Its not quite the same color as my larger one but I still like the way it looks on my mantel.

I also found this rolling pin and it looks really good in the hand made wood bowl that is used for raising bread in. I also purchased a hat for the daughter that lives there, she collects old hats and I forgot to get a picture of it.
Once again its raining here so no working in the yard today. I looks like a good day to sew and paint!

  3. What a great day you had, like the jug and the rolling pin looks like the one my Mum has. Sorry to hear about the weather but still sounds like fun.

  4. I have a pitcher just like that! I bought it at the antique mall. There was a chip in it and I got it for $2. Yours looks in much better condition. I keep silverware in mine.

  6. I have an identical pitcher! I don't know where it came from but it has a small chip, probably caused by me. I use it as a caddy for kitchen utensils.

I love your finds. Just the kind stuff I would buy too.
