A Day of Shopping in Colorado

My daughter and I went out to Colorado a day before everyone else so we could go to some great Flea markets and Antique shops in Fort Collins. I found this pitcher at one of the shops it was a little pricey at $14.00 but I really like it.

Its not quite the same color as my larger one but I still like the way it looks on my mantel.

I also found this rolling pin and it looks really good in the hand made wood bowl that is used for raising bread in. I also purchased a hat for the daughter that lives there, she collects old hats and I forgot to get a picture of it.
Once again its raining here so no working in the yard today. I looks like a good day to sew and paint!

  1. I love, love, love the rolling pin and bowl! It's raining here too... Enjoy your day!

  2. You have the prettiest country style. I love the new pitcher and bowl.
    Have a great weekend

  3. What a great day you had, like the jug and the rolling pin looks like the one my Mum has. Sorry to hear about the weather but still sounds like fun.
    Happy Sewing Hugs Bec

  4. I have a pitcher just like that! I bought it at the antique mall. There was a chip in it and I got it for $2. Yours looks in much better condition. I keep silverware in mine.

  5. Oh you're trencher is perfect for that rolling pin and I love the pitcher. Blue and white is classic. Nice finds!

  6. I have an identical pitcher! I don't know where it came from but it has a small chip, probably caused by me. I use it as a caddy for kitchen utensils.

I love your finds. Just the kind stuff I would buy too.

  7. Hi Julie, I LOVE that pitcher...I have a thing for pitchers but I really like the shape and the color of yours. It looks really nice on your mantle with your other items. That wooden rolling pin is really nice too as is the wooden bowl...I REALLY like that. I hope you had fun sewing or painting. Take care...Maura:)

  8. I think your pitcher was a realy buy. Great finds!!!
