A sewing weekend!

This was a busy sewing weekend for me but boy did I get allot done. Daughter and I almost got the aprons done more mine then hers. She keep having to stop to take care of the boys but I'm sure there will be another day of sewing this week.
And look at this I was able to get my pumpkin quilt all put together and it is off to the quilters today! I was really worried that I would not find the time to get it done so it can hang in the hall for the fall season but its always nice when I find that little bit of time!
Have a great and beautiful summer day!
Julie

  1. The pumpkin quilt is wonderful and I can't wait to see the end job. I am sure it will look great in the hall this fall, which is just around the corner I guess. As I am hanging out for our spring as the winter has been very cold this year.
So hope your daughter gets some more sewing time but as a mum of boys I know.

  5. Hi Julie! You are a busy woman with all that sewing and all the other things you do. Love your quilt and the aprons. I made an apron in grade 8 Home EC many many moons ago but haven't made another since. I've made other things since then (I'm no sewer...at least not yet) but only easy things. I have 4 aprons two that I bought and 2 that my step sister made for me and I LOVE them. I think they're one of those things that you just can never have enough of! Enjoy your day and have fun sewing! Maura :)

  8. What pattern are you using for those cute aprons? I need to make a half apron sometime soon. I love your fall quilt. Fall is my favorite time of year, and this just makes me long for jeans and long sleeves. BEAUTIFUL. I bet it is quite stunning when it gets back from the quilter.
