Happy Valentines Day!

And what a February it has been with the death of one close friend on the 4Th and then on the following Tuesday I got a call at work from my daughter she was in so much pain and didn't know what to do . So I called my son-n-law to hurry home to get her to the hospital. He was about 20 min away and I was an hour away. I meet them at the hospital and took the little boys home while they decided what was wrong. She had surgery the next day and the removed three large kidney stones from her right kidney. They couldn't break them up because the kidney wasn't working and couldn't flush them out. So they went in and pulled them out and put in a shunt to drain the kidney. The doctor thinks the stones had been there for over nine months. She still has several more in the left kidney but they won't be able to work on it tell they hopefully get the right one working.
But to top the whole week off on the day that Jessica went into the hospital another good friend and the owner of the company I have worked for, for over thirty years passed away. So yes this was one hard and very sad week!
Happy Valentines Day!
Julie

  1. Oh I am so sorry to hear of your losses and I hope your daughter recovers from the surgery. I hope they can fix the left one soon, Kidney stones are not fun as I had them just after John was born.
    Lots of Big Hugs
