Yard Man No Show!

Yes this is my yard and this isn't what is was going to look like this week. We had hired a guy to come after hubby got all the sprinklers in and grade it and put top soil down.
Will guess what he did not show up on Thursday or Friday and hubby tried to call and left several messages but never have heard back from him. So we called several other guys to come out and give us bids and the last guy we really liked.

He will be out Friday and Saturday this week to get her done we hope! Have you ever seen so many rocks?
Lets all hope this week is my lucky week!
Julie

  1. Julie, it's a work in progress! I reckon this means your Colors of June are gray, green, and blue. A nice combination actually.

  3. You would think with today's economy a person would appreciate the business.

Your hubby put in sprinklers??????? Does he have a back left? LOL I look at all those rocks and think, no way.
Hope the rest of this week goes better.

    Blessings,
    Jilly

  5. Isn't that crazy? You'd think he'd be happy for work. I've been waiting for the tree stump grinder guy for a week now - I'm going to get someone else. Is business that good?

  6. Actually, that looks quite a bit like my veggie garden. We grow rocks in northeast PA, almost as well as the weeds grow.

Good luck. I hope the new guy is far more reputable and reliable.

    Keep well. :)

  8. Hello Julie! Wow that's a LOT of rocks...I'm not going to complain when I find a rock in my gardens anymore after seeing all yours! It's going to be beautiful once it's done though...I'll be watching for 'after' photos. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message today...it was nice to 'see' you. I'll be back again to see what you're up to. Have a wonderful Wednesday...Maura :)

  12. That definitely brings back memories of our rocky our yard was when we bought our lot. We called it the "helipad" because it was a big circle of rubble on top of a hill - seemed like a perfect spot for a helicopter to land.

Dirt and grass will make a huge difference! Hopefully they're in progress at your place as I write this comment (well, maybe in a few hours!) Good luck!
