Here is mine and it also is a picture that I took when we went to the Smokey's. It is of my two grandson's walking towards a barn. We have allot of work to do on them but I think they aren't to bad for beginners. We've talked for years about taking a painting class together so it pretty neat that we started one.
Hubby's mother was such a beautiful painter and is 88 and doesn't paint anymore so she gave us all of her supplies. She even gave hubby her easel so I didn't have one so hubby got me this one off of eBay. Its a french style easel and folds up to a box so that I can take it outside or with us when we travel.
Hope you have a warm spring day, it looks like rain here!
Julie
I love what both of you are doing. Very different styles, yours has a wonderful, simple primitive look to it...meant as a huge compliment. Please let your husband know that I love his clouds, something I have never been able to get right.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the finish.
Blessings,
Jilly

Both paintings are looking great and good to hear that you are both enjoying it together. I use to love to paint but I'm afraid the closes I get to painting now is the house lol. Carn't wait to see some more from you both.
